Rules
Muster
Divide all attendees in to two approximately even groups.
Each team elects a representative.
Each player is responsible for piloting no more than 3000 Points of units.
The hope is that we will have even number of players.
In the case that we have uneven number of players; we will ask one player to take on the additional Points to
bring the sides up to even.
List construction
Each player must arrange their units into Two Detachments.
No Detachment may have more than 1750 points
All Detachment may contain one copy of an Epic Hero.
Each Detachment may contain six copies of battle line units.
Each Detachment may contain three copies of other units.
Each Detachment may contain Legends units per rules above.
Each Detachment must have a Warlord (This does not need to be a character)
Each Player must designate their Detachments as Detachment 1 or Detachment 2
Deployment
Both teams declare Leaders, Transports, and Reserves.
Deploy detachment 1 and leave detachment 2 in reserve.
Team representatives roll off -- the winning team goes first
Turn Sequence
Detachment 1 is active
Command Phase
Increase the teams command point pool by one per player
Activate any abilities in that detachment
Make battle shock test as necessary
Apply a -1 penalty to the roll if more then 24" from detachment's warlord (this includes the warlord being destroyed)
Score 3 Points for each objective that detachment is holding
Movement Phase
Move units on the table in chosen detachment
Deploy Reserves (not on turn one)
Shooting Phase
Shoot
Charge Phase
Charge
Heroic Intervention
Fight Phase
Units eligible to fight are units in engagement range from the active detachment and units that are in
engagement range with units from active detachments.
Fight First
Start with Inactive team
Fight Normal
Start with Inactive Team
Switch Active Team
Repeat above sequence with Detachment 2 Starting on turn 2.
Wound Resolution Phase
Make armor saves
Make feel no pain saves
Remove Models
Calculate Mission progress
Score 5 points for each objective you control at the beginning round.
Score 3 points for each unit you destroyed this turn.
Score 3 points for each character you destroyed this turn.
Report Mission Progress
Team representatives will collect progress and report out
We will then report out the progress
Break until the start of the next turn
Rules Changes / Clarifications
Shadow of Chaos: If you control an Objective the area of the Shadow of Chaos is 10" from the center of the objective.
Fight on Death: These abilities will be resolved during the Wound Resolution Phase.
Go back and forth resolving these abilities and the wounds they cause during this phase.
