Year of War 2026 – League Sign-Ups Open January 2nd!!!Good Games Hobart is proud to announce Year of War 2026 — a full-year Warhammer 40,000 League built around consistent play, community, hobby growth, and fun competitive gaming.
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just starting your 40K journey, this league is designed so everyone has a meaningful path to the finals.

League Highlights
• 12-month league with Weekly Events, Quarterly Major Events, and Special Events
• Quarterly army progression:
1250 → 1500 → 1750 → 2000 points
• League Points earned for attendance and wins
• One scored game per week
• No repeat opponents two weeks in a row
• Results must be reported to Good Games Hobart
• Additional hobby & painting events in development with the community
• Top 16 players qualify for a 2000pt, 3-round Finals Tournament
• Weekly punch card rewards + major prizing + end-of-year prize pool
