W.A.R. RACING GROUP - 2025 JOHN SMEDLEY SHIELD

Hi everyone
The last team event of the 2025 W.A.R. racing year is the highly anticipated 13th running of the 2025 John Smedley Shield.

Named after the much missed late founder of the FPR racing group, which morphed into the W.A.R. racing group, the JS Shield is a team battle between NSR and Slot.it cars over two classes.
The winning team will have its named engraved on the JS Shield along with all the previous great winning teams.
Please note that only one "gold" driver is allowed per team.

8 x 10 minute heats for Classic Racing Cars on the WAR track
8 x 10 minute heats for Modern Racing Cars on the WAR track
$20 entry fee per team

Each driver must drive for 4 heats in each class, although it can be in any order.
The final total of laps for each team will be the number of laps completed in both classes added together.

RACE PROGRAM
10AM -4.45PM PRACTICE & SCRUTINEERING FOR BOTH CLASSES
4.55PM SCRUTINEERING FOR BOTH CLASSES ENDS
5PM – 7PM RACING FOR CLASSIC RACING CARS
7PM – 9PM RACING FOR MODERN RACING CARS

The following practice sessions have also been scheduled for the JS Shield:
Wednesday 10 September 12 Noon - 9PM
Thursday 11 September 12 Noon - 9PM
Friday 12 September 12 Noon - 9PM
There is a $15 entry fee for each driver attending the practice sessions, but that one fee gains you entry to ALL the practice sessions.

It should be a great night of team racing to celebrate and honour our late friend.
