Old Toby Wargaming welcomes you to the War of the Roses - Battle Of The Five Roses 2022, we present you with a full 1day event of SBG gaming EPICNESS. We kick off the action with the Yorkshire Clan VS the Lancashire Clan facing off against each other for the prize for the Rose’s Cup forged in fire. This is an 80point event with army lists being set at 650 points. There will be a 1st 2rd and 3rd prizes for the event as well as best painted army and most sporting player. Players will be drawn against each other by the Palantir Player selector.This year there will be an added fun element to all games with the addition of a siege weapon to be used by either side,full rules are included in the pack
Scenarios will be rolled for at the start of each round by the team captains with no scenario being played twice. We encourage fun fluffy lists to be brought to this as it’s a relaxed one day event. All models should be all GW / Forge World models being used on the day, but we will allow alternate proxies that clearly represent the models in your list to be used as well.
Games are scored as followed :-
3 pt for win
1 pt for draw
0 for a loss
The wins from each County will be added up at end of the tournament and the one with the most will be Victors of the Roses Cup.
Restrictions:-
. One spellcaster per army if you want to use one you are not obligated too.
. 60 model limit per Army.
. Prize for the fluffiest army (player votes get taken through the day)
We will be looking for our team Captains again for the Yorkshiremen or Lancashirian to lead each Clan to War. So put your name forward for Team Captain if you see yourself as Aragon.
Lunch is not included but there are plenty of takeaways and local shops around the area to grab some quick lunch and obviously there's plenty of food and drink that they sell onsite.
