Evening all Beelsby Model Flying Club is planning another in house event � � � as you may know the Battle of Britain weekend is comemorated in September I'm happy to announce we will be hosting a war bird weekend in recognition of the Battle of Britain.
The weekend will be a camping weekend and will be spread over the 5th 6th 7th of September. I'm toying with the idea of food on the Saturday night once I've worked out the logistics.
It would be fantastic if someone is able to lend a model tent to be able to do the bring a chair and a beer type thing again and also to be able to distribute food if we go ahead with it.
So in short this is a great opportunity to demonstrate all the war birds that BMFC members actually own and im sure there are a lot lol..
I'm aiming to have individual slots every 30 minutes this will allow normal flying to commence between slots (I will be organising the itinerary on the day)
Lastly im sure some of you will be happy to know I will organise a dog fight slot so bring something you don't mind bumping as im sure this might be a full contact dog fight (obviously in the safest possible manner)
I'm hoping to see you all there so save the date (5th.6th.7th of September) ���
