Thames foreshore walk at Wapping with a focus on London's international trade
About this Event

Clayground Collective regularly hosts River foreshore walks with leading Thames archaeologist, Mike Webber, to explore the history of ceramics and of London through participants' own discovery of ceramic sherds on the beach.

This new specialist walk explores London's International Trading history through ceramics found on the beach at Wapping.

If you are interested in the history of London and the development of international trade on the Thames, you will have much to learn from this walk.

The walk starts at 17.00 and will end at 19.30. Full details are sent on booking.

The fee is £25.00 per adult. There are 2 discounted child places per walk at £15.00 for ages 8-17. Please note minimum age is 8. These discounted places are limited to 2 as we need to cover the costs of licences and insurance. Please use the promo code CHILD if you wish to book a discounted place.

NB Please be aware the foreshore can be dangerous. It is not suitable for anyone who experiences difficulty using steps or walking on uneven ground.

Dogs are not allowed on these walks.

Clayground is licensed for group walks by the Port of London Authority.
