A fun and friendly 2 month taster of Authentic Streetdance with AWARD WINNING Streetdance Academy!
Come and join us for a Fantastically Funky session of REAL Streetdance by Authentic Streetdance specialists.
What to expect:
We will start off with registratio, where we get to know eachother and buddy up our new starters. We then do a group warm up to engage and energise your child, welcoming them enthusiastically to the world of STREET DANCE! We like to create a sociable and interactive environment, to make new connections with like minded individuals, you can rest assured that your child will be improving social skills and confidence, connecting with peers, not just the mirror!
They will be taught some basic Streetdance movements, including foundational grooves of Streetdance, in an engaging and exciting setting.
They will learn a short combination of movements which they can practise at home to perfect their new COOL moves!
This class is FUN, sociable, and expressive, offering a safe and professional space to express your child's individuality and style!
This class enthusiastically delivers an energetic and inspiring class of Freestyle dance, Streetdance foundations and Funky games to get your cool kids moving with style!

Where is the class?
Worthing Academy classes run at Thomas A Becket Infant School, Worthing, BN13 1JA :
Tuesday:
JUNIORS: Y2-4: 4.15 - 5.15pm
INTERS: Y5-8: 5.15pm – 6.15pm
SENIORS: Y8 +: 6.15-7.15pm
Wednesdays:
MINIS: Aged 3-6: 4.30 - 5.15pm
MIXED: Y2-6: 5.15-6:15pm
All classes run term time only.
Is this a Drop off and Go class?
Yes. You are kindly asked to enjoy your freedom whilst the session is on. We promise to contact you if we need you.
My child can be shy, Can I sit and watch in the corner?
No, in our experience, shy children tend to hide behind a grown up rather than get stuck in. We play plenty of interactive games to warm the group up and get the children into a comfortable, relaxed, but positively excited frame of mind. We always have an assistant available for less confident children, that need more support.
When does my 2month taster run out?
You can begin your 2months at any point upto The last week of October 2024. Your 2month period will begin from your first session.
Will I have to fill in a sign up form?
Yes, but this is done online. After purchasing a ticket, with in 3-5 working days, you will be contacted by a member of our team via email, with the link to a parent portal. This will send you to our online sign up forms, for you to fill in information on your child's health and allergies, contact numbers and any other relevant details.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

What can I bring into the event?
Water is necessary. You are responsible for any possessions they may bring, and so bring them at your own risk.
What shall my child wear to the event?
Comfortable clothing and foot ware suitable for exercise should be worn. No skirts/dresses/sandals/crocs/healed boots. No jewellery is allowed. Long Hair tied back.
Can my older/younger children attend the session?
No. We strictly work with in the age limits set for a class, to ensure the content is appropriate and enjoyed by all.
Will my child be safe?
There is always a first aider on site, and teachers are DBS checked with Chaperones licences and insurances in place.

What if my child has any medical conditions or injuries?
It is up to you to inform the teacher of any medical conditions they might have. If such information is not disclosed, it is a your own risk, and your sole responsibility should they participate. Please consult your GP for any advise, and If appropriate, a letter from your GP maybe required to join the class.
Can I pay by Cash?
No, these tickets must be purchased online.
If my child does not attend the full 2 months can I get a refund?
No. But they are welcome to cont until the end of their two months even if they do not sign up after.
Will my child have fun?
Oh YEAH!
