Wanderlust: Bringing South East Asian Flavors + Hospitality Upstate

Keshonn Hatcher, bar director of {Pretty to think so} in Rhinebeck + Andrew Patterson, bar director of Milas in Schenectady are joining forces to discuss the influence of their experiences bartending and traveling in South East Asia on their approach to hospitality + cocktail design.

Keshonn Hatcher worked in a Tokyo night club + Japanese ramen shop for two years while Andrew Patterson bartended at the famed Attic Bar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With tiny cocktails paired to the talk, they'll get into:

• How the Japanese Art of Hospitality (otonashi) + Danny Meyer's Unreasonable Hospitality are defining U.S. mixology today

• Why sake, soju and bijou are becoming lead ingredients in modern cocktails

What is TINY?

TINY is a tiny taste experience with tiny cocktails, tiny tastes + tiny talks. Think TED talks shrunk to size with curated flavors built in.
Events run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a half-hour guest talk starting at 7 p.m.
Three à la carte tiny cocktails, each with a complimentary tiny bite, are paired for the talk.
