• L.T. Leif • (Canada. Lost Map)
A wild dog chasing the sun! Hailing from the Canadian Prairies by way of Finland and Glasgow, L.T.Leif crafts captivating, glitchy psych-folk that "can stop a day in its tracks, pull it apart...and transport the listener somewhere else entirely" (Gold Flake Paint).
Supported by the illustrious Lost Map Records, Leif has been involved in many projects–from heartwarming experimental collaborations with the infamous Bill Wells, to psych-rock performances with Scottish dreamboats Pictish Trail and Susan Bear (Lost Map Presents Weird Wave), to recreating the music of Ivor Cutlor with Emma Pollock (The Delgados). Their admirers include K Records maestro Calvin Johnson (they toured together with The Believer Magazine), and international sweethearts and frequent collaborators Woodpigeon. Leif’s spirit is eternally collaborative, generous, experimental, and kind–a stance that comes through in their performance and sound.
"L.T. Leif has a knack for taking the world around them and funnelling it into sound. Come Back To Me, But Lightly feels like a remarkably alive record, an album bristling with the energy of its creator and quite possibly one of 2023’s first great albums"

• Luce Mawdsley •
Hailed as the Merseyside Morricone by Uncut Magazine, Luce Mawdsely is an autistic nonbinary composer and guitarist based in Liverpool with a practice rooted in progressive experimentation. Their work uses personal experience of neurodivergence, queerness and place to conjure expansive queer cowboy instrumentals via the Northern English coastline.
“It provides an almost utopian glimpse of a particular corner of England, but more importantly, it shows a way of getting there by embracing queerness and unique personal expression.” – Klof
"Notes hang for an extra breath and small moments fade from grayscale to color as electric guitar leads sing and organ chords effervesce like new growth in early spring.” - Foxy Digitalis
“One part classical, one part Americana, and one part folksy (a touch of the Celtic too) there’s still a very modern twist to what we may identify as the familiar: imagine Prokofiev on an acid trip” – Monolith Cocktail

• Haar •
Jessie Howard is a North East based singer-songwriter/musician releasing music under the alias ‘haar’. She records dream-like DIY demos using a hand held 8-track digital recorder. She also plays/writes with the duo ‘watersmeet’.
‘Resolutely DIY, Jessie’s songs reflect on snatched moments of big thoughts, equal parts wonder and gratitude, something solid and still ungraspable. Her circular melodies fall between dream pop’s atmospherics and minimalist indie pop’s no-messing production.’ - Foxy Digitalis
