Join us for an evening wander through the history, legends, and landscapes of the Greenfield Valley and Holywell — a place where medieval abbeys, mill streams, and miracles all share the same path. 🌿✨We’ll follow Part 1 of the heritage trail through the valley’s historic heart, with the option to continue on Part 2 for a slightly longer route along the coast and estuary views. 🌅
This is a peer-led walk, perfect for anyone who loves exploring local history, nature, and good company.
🧭 What to Bring
🥾 Good walking shoes or boots (mixed terrain, some uneven ground)
🧥 Warm clothes & waterproofs (November evenings can get chilly!)
🔦 Torch or headlamp (it’ll be dark by the end)
🥪 A snack & drink to keep you fuelled
Take Part 1 or both — it’s your adventure! Expect friendly faces, fascinating stories, and that unbeatable autumn evening atmosphere. 🍂
please note: we're meeting at the Basingwerk Abbey car park and not the Paris Mine car park
