What if we embraced the white space—those undefined open pauses in our creative process—as fertile ground for inspiration? In both life and art it’s in the moments of not knowing that something entirely new can emerge. This is the invitation of block printing: to slow down tune in and let nature guide the hand.
We’ll begin with a mindful hike tuning into the beauty and wisdom of the natural world. After a gentle yoga practice and nourishing lunch we’ll transition into our creative flow with a hands-on block printing experience with local artist Evi Hollins. Drawing from elements discovered on our hike—leaf shapes tree bark stones and shadow patterns—we’ll carve and print our own unique designs.
You’ll head home with your own hand-crafted print a set of artist tools and a renewed trust in the unfolding of your creative process—and your life.
