Welcome to Wander & Wonder, the monthly gathering that offers a unique opportunity to connect with others in nature and explore the benefits of wonder. In a world where we spend much of our time glued to screens and devices, Wander & Wonder offers a refreshing alternative to traditional networking events. By getting outside and moving our bodies, we can tap into our creativity, connect with others (and ourselves), and gain fresh perspectives that can help us in our work and personal lives.
Purpose
The purpose of Wander & Wonder is to provide a space for people from the world of work to connect with each other in nature and explore the benefits of wonder.
By doing so, we hope to:
- Encourage creativity and open-mindedness
- Build relationships and community
- Promote mental and physical wellbeing
- Provide a refreshing and unique networking experience
Format
Wander & Wonder takes place once a month at a local park or nature reserve. We'll start with a cuppa , a brief talk with our guest walker, and time to meet fellow wanderers.
Each walk has been chosen to encourage wonder, exploration and connection with nature. Along the way, participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with each other, share ideas, and enjoy the benefits of movement and fresh air.
After the walk, we'll gather for a snacks and refreshments, where you can continue to chat and connect with each other. There will also be opportunities to participate in group activities that encourage creativity and exploration.
