Time: Doors open at 7am for a 7.30 – 9.30am event
Venue: Fraser’s Restaurant, Kaarta Gar-up, 60 Fraser Ave, West Perth WA 6005
Topic: Strategy: the catalyst for exceptional outcomes
We’re stoked to have Matt Oakley, Chief Strategy Officer for 303 Mullen Lowe, playing host. A relative newcomer to Western Australia, during his visa application Matt was reminded of the fact that he had the pleasure of working across 18 countries during a career that has spanned more time than he likes to admit (it’s nearly 20 years).
From Russian confectionary brand design to Australian behaviour change, Scandinavian soccer sponsorship to US medical technology, he’s worked with the likes of Carlsberg Group, Nestlé Group (Confectionary, Infant Nutrition, Water and Health Sciences), National Foods, Mondeléz and more recently the strategy for Lotterywest, P&N Bank, DPC and Netball WA.
Still very much on the tools, Matt is a firm believer in the role of strategy as a multiplier of creativity and can often be found extolling the virtues of a career in the discipline to anyone who will listen.
Matt is also the course lead for the Advertising Council of Australia’s ‘Advanced Strategy and Planning Course’, a visiting lecturer and industry mentor.
Matt will be leading the following fabulous panel of strategic minds:
