Residents of West St. Pete and We Love St. Pete Parks, through Keep Pinellas Beautiful, have adopted Walter Fuller Park.
Keep Pinellas Beautiful requires that before the cleanup event I go over some protocol with everyone, and that everyone participating signs a waiver.
Trash bags, pickers, gloves, and vests are provided.
The city and Keep Pinellas Beautiful have an arrangement where we all sign a waiver and they secure our permit, as well as provide us with gloves, vests, and trash bags.
Walter Fuller is one of west St. Pete's most frequented parks. Let's get outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine, roll up our sleeves, and have a fun morning making a difference in our community!
Please be sure to arrive at the Walter Fuller pool parking lot by 10am so everyone can sign the waiver and receive their gear.
During this process it can be fun to meet some of your neighbors and chat a little bit.
Following that I will review Keep Pinellas Beautiful protocol.
After everyone has gotten checked in and I have gone over everything, we will break out and disperse around Walter Fuller Park.
Whether you prefer to walk the park and cleanup individually or in pairs is entirely up to you.
All participants are asked to return by or before 12pm to drop off their trash bags so that we can weigh them and I can document our total weight.
Thank you for loving your city, its' parks, and our west St. Pete community.
See you on December 6th at 10am in the Walter Fuller pool parking lot!
We are also partnering with Stewards of our Urban Lakes to cleanup Jungle Lake!
