Walpurgisnacht is a mystical festival with deep roots in both pagan and Christian traditions. Originally honoring Saint Walpurga, a medieval healer known for warding off illness and negative forces marking the turning of the wheel into the fertile embrace of spring
Throughout history, this night has been seen as a time when the veil between worlds is thinnest, allowing spirits to wander and energy to shift. Across Europe, witches were said to gather on mountaintops, dancing in wild celebration of renewal and rebirth. Bonfires were lit to ward off darkness and welcome transformation, and lovers leapt through the flames for protection and passion
