About this Event
This workshop will introduce you to a whole new world of creative possibilities. If you've ever wanted to try creating your own unique wall hanging but haven't known where to start, this is the workshop for you. You don't need any previous experience.
In this five-hour workshop, You will learn how to manipulate different fabrics and materials, including scraps, threads, and yarns. And you will learn different types of hand embroidery techniques. In addition, you'll discover the possibilities of using unconventional and recycled materials in your creations. What kind of wall hanging are you imagining? What colors will you use? What materials will you incorporate? Come to the workshop with those questions and your creativity, and I'll be happy to guide you on this new creative journey.
Location: FAVO Art Village Studio 238
To reach the studio, turn north on Highland Avenue from Colonial Drive, and enter the parking lot (second driveway on the left). There is a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". When you enter the parking lot turn right and then left at the rear of the lot, continue through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. FAVO building is the L-shaped two story building. Class is upstairs at studio 238.

Class is limited to 8 attendees.
$10 material fee payable in cash to the instructor at the beginning of class.
