About this Event

Welcome to Freshwalks. This Walks for Women+ event is part of our own vibrant business community programme and women in business are welcome to join us for some invigorating networking in the great outdoors. This monthly series offers a perfect entry level option and is ideal for those with busy diaries. Feel free to come alone - most Freshwalkers do - and you'll be warmly welcomed or invite a colleague or client along for company.

Route description

Our route sees us heading south out of Marple along the Peak Forest Canal where we’ll enjoy the increasingly semi-rural waterside surroundings at a gentle pace. After about an hour, we leave the canal and head in the direction of Strines before following the river back into Marple Bridge via the Roman Lakes.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

An event pack will be sent out at least 72 hours before the walk. This should answer most things but feel free to email [email protected] with any questions you may have. If you've not received the pack by this time, check your email junk or spam and then contact us. Receiving this pack is essential as it includes important disclaimers and health and safety information.

What's the refund policy?

You can self-manage a refund (minus platform fees) with 7 days notice via the Eventbrite app.

We'll transfer your place to a future Walks for Women event given 24 hours notice.
