One of the largest urban wetland nature reserves in Europe, and particularly important for wildlife due to its position within the lower Lee Valley. Ten reservoirs with varied wetland habitats, including islands, dense scrub-lined banks and reedbed, offer a haven for overwintering wildfowl. Kingfisher and Peregrine resident. A wide range of water birds expected. A good opportunity to add birds to your 2025 year tick list!
