Discover the E. University Ave neighborhood of historic Waxahachie and learn about unique architectural features that make the homes of Waxahachie so iconic! Sip on your lemonade provided by Prickly Boba (included with your ticket) as you stroll the sidewalks of E. University Ave where you'll learn about distinctive features of different architectural styles, hear about the history embedded in craftsmanship worth preserving, and learn how to spot these fantastic features across town and in any neighborhood you might visit across America!

(No homes will be entered on the tour; the stroll will be held completely from the sidewalk)

Ticket sales support the mission of Historic Waxahachie, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the education, preservation, and advocacy of Waxahachie heritage. All tickets are non-refundable & proceeds will go towards the mission of preserving historic Waxahachie for past, present, and future generations. Should inclement weather impact the event, an announcement will be posted and an alternate rain date or time will be announced.

The locations on the Walks-a-Hachie Architectural Stroll are all owned by private individuals, and as such, all respect and care should be given to their property. Volunteers and guests will remain on the sidewalks at all times and at no point will they enter private property. We encourage you to wear comfortable footware and clothing to explore Waxahachie's architectural heritage as the tour will be outside the entire time!
