Walk Description: Walk in one of Surrey's most popular parks. Explore the nature trails that wind through meadows and forests. Lookout for owls, eagles, ducks, aquatic insects, frogs, and salamanders.

How to recognize your walk leader(s): Large group of walkers, volutneer will have a bright orange "Jane's Walk" bandana.

WALKit Surrey is hosting an special walk in collaboration with the Jane’s Walk Festival. What a better way to get to know the suburbs of Vancouver than to visit one of our fastest growing cities in the greater Vancouver area. Surrey is proud to be known as the "city of parks." Explore new pedestrian routes in your neighbourhood with the WALKit Activity Program. Walking is a great way to get around, explore our city, improve your health and help achieve your fitness goals. The WALKit Activity Program is designed to encourage mobility, increase social engagement, and learn about various areas and topics of interest while on the walking route.
This event is taking place as part of the Jane’s Walk Vancouver Festival (May 2-5, 2024). Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs. Check out other Jane’s Walks happening this year in Vancouver here.
