Walking With the Wind

This mindful walking group is perfect for beginners as well as experienced hikers, and everyone in between! The walk includes a good amount of uphill walking, and is a guided walk/hike through a unique blend of urban and natural environments. This is a perfect group for those seeking to connect and exercise in Nature with the safety and structure of a guided group setting. There will be opportunities to be in quiet reflection, as well as moments to be in community with others. We meet at Culver City Skate Park (see image below!), rest under a beautiful Sycamore Tree and end at the Japanese Garden at Kenneth Hahn Park. The round trip is about 4 miles, with some elevation gain, (around 300ft). I look forward to seeing you in Nature!

Info: We introduce ourselves, I will discuss what to expect and lead a short grounding exercise to set our intention.

Info: Walk through Culver City Park up to Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, rest in the shade of a Sycamore Tree and participate in guided meditation. The terrain of this walk includes a wooden ramp, grass, dirt trail, and a small section of a paved road.

Info: We will walk to Japanese Garden at Kenneth Hahn Park and participate in a second meditation. The walk will be unshaded, and terrains include a dirt trail, a bridge crossing a highway and grass.

Info: This is the final part of our group, and is an opportunity to connect with participants
