Join us for a magical evening of stargazing and night walking in the beautiful village of Oxenholme, South Lakes. Our guide for the evening is the Friends of the Lake District and timed to fit with the Cumbria Dark Skies Festival. On this guided walk, you to be taken on a 1hr 15 min experience under the starry skies together. As well as learning more about the dark skies above us, we hope to encounter the beautiful black fell ponies that are native to the Helm before descending to the Station Inn for refreshments. Shelter will be in attendance to share stories of our work and the alternative view under the stars that is experienced by many of the people we support. This in-person event is perfect for nature lovers and astronomy enthusiasts alike. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with the universe in a whole new way and help fight for home.
