As his friend and fellow writer Ben Jonson said of William Shakespeare, 'He was not of an age but for all time'!

This tour is an imaginative stroll through the City of London, tuning in as we go to echoes of Shakespeare in his own words.

Join me to celebrate - through exceprts from his poetry and drama - the work of arguably the greatest writer in the English language.

Meet outside the entrance to St Giles, Cripplegate (at the Barbican Centre; near to Barbican and St Paul's stations). The tour will finish approximately two hours later near St Paul's Underground Station.
