Long before calendars, deadlines, and social media algorithms, our ancestors looked to the land and sky. Daily rhythms were intentionally connected to seasonal and lunar changes and led to a deeper connection with the natural world around them. The rhythm and celebration of the seasons is what we now refer to as the Wheel of the Year. Winter grounds us, reminds us that as the world goes quiet and dark, so must we look inward and take time to rest and prepare for the new growth to come. Spring invites us to communicate, to dream, to imagine; to plant the seeds of what we wish to nurture. Summer beckons us to take action, to create, to grow with strength and vigor, bringing our intentions to life. Fall reminds us that what grows must be gathered and celebrated or released as we prepare for the stillness of winter.
In a culture that pressures us to hustle, to always be producing, many of us have lost the sense of connection that once guided our ancestors. We are disconnected from our inner seasons and from the sacred timing of our soul. Have you felt this in your life? Have you experienced those periods where you push too hard to harvest when what you really need is rest? Or maybe you’re dreaming ideas and intentions but struggle to cultivate them. Wherever you are, the Wheel of the Year is there to guide you.
Join me in a series of monthly classes, plus 8 Sabbat holiday celebrations, where we will utilize discussion, meditation, ritual, and other witchcraft basics to walk the Wheel, supported by the phases of the moon. (No experience necessary!) We will utilize nature’s rhythms to provide a framework for setting intentions and bring those intentions to fruition. You are strongly encouraged to participate in the full year as each season holds a specific energy and invites us into a different phase of the natural and spiritual cycle, however, if space allows registration will be available on a per season basis. Contact at the email address below to inquire about per season registration.
The beauty of this practice is that it reminds us that every phase, even the messy or uncomfortable ones, has its purpose. It’s a powerful affirmation that wherever you are in your life, you’re exactly where you need to be. By honoring these turning points, you are invited back to the moment; invited to stop chasing time and live in harmony with it.
