Walking on Sunshine 5K

Walking on Sunshine is a stroller friendly 5K created for parents, caregivers, and families in the thick of the early years. This isn’t about racing or keeping a certain pace. It’s about getting outside, moving your body, and walking alongside other families who understand this season of life.

Whether you walk the full 5K or turn around early, stop to tend to little ones, or take it slow the entire way, you are welcome here. Strollers, babies, toddlers, and siblings are all encouraged to join.

This event is hosted by Be the Sunshine, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families from conception through early childhood through resources, education, and community. Proceeds from this event help fund support groups, family resources, and future programming for local parents.

Come as you are. Walk at your own pace. Because everybody deserves a little sunshine.
