About this Event
Lets walk together!
Led by Nancy (209-703-0745) this group meets at the Health Pavillion and walks on the flat area around the building every Wednesday at 5:30pm rain or shine! Mostly flat.
This walking group is what we call here at Blue Zones Project a walking moai. Moai (pronounced moh-eye) is a concept from Okinawa, Japan that means coming together for a common purpose. The Okinawans are some of the world’s longest living people who join together to support each other in times of need. Walking Moais, or walking groups, encourage that same social support while adding the extra emotional and physical benefits of walking.
We hope to see you there! Sign up here or at the walk. Bring a friend!
