A talk by Diné (Navajo) Elder Lupita McClanahan."Hozho," or "The Beauty Way," is a core practice of the Diné people. Raised in secrecy by traditional elders in Canyon de Chelly, Lupita was hidden to preserve her family's lineage from the boarding school system. Though eventually taken, she drew on her cultural strength to endure and overcome unimaginable challenges. Join us to hear her powerful stories of resilience and discover how we, too, can walk in "Hozho".
Doors open at 6:30 pm. The 90 minute talk begins at 7:00 pm. It's also highly encouraged to RSVP with the attached link, though it is not required.
This is a FREE public event, but donations are highly encouraged.
