The Northwestern Medicine Footsteps Forward Program is here to support you on your path toward a healthier life. Led by a diabetes educator, this group meets once a week to walk at both Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital. This walk is just under one mile.
Anyone with diabetes can join. It is open to all ages and fitness levels. There is no cost to join, but you must register in advance. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water and low blood sugar treatment, if needed.
Kishwaukee Hospital Program Details:
• The group meets every Wednesday from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm.
• Meet us outside the Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Health & Wellness Center at 626 Bethany Road in DeKalb.
