This is our 5th annual 5K & 1 mile Memory Walk. We are walking to raise awareness for mental health issues including the reduction of stigma and the promotion of positive support, healthy habits & suicide prevention. Mental illness affects 1 in 4 people every year, meaning that nearly every family in our community is affected. Course - 5K mapped course at Avon Town Hall Park, Avon Indiana
Entry fee includes
- An awesome WFTHI t-shirt*
- A custom WFTHI In Color bib with your name printed on it**
- A custom WFTHI Medal
- Entry to community health & wellness fair, kids activities and yard games including guest speakers, a DJ, and food/ refreshment trucks.
* The t-shirt cut off is May 1st- you must be registered by this date to receive an event t-shirt
** The cutoff date to have your name printed on the custom bib# is April 25th. If you are running in memory of someone you can also choose to have their name printed on the bib.
Fundraising- Both individual and team fundraising options are available to all participants. Earn complimentary 5K entry using our inline fundraiser option. Select Become a fundraiser in the left-hand column for more information.
If you would like to sponsor a member/consumer to participate in the run/walk, please choose the Sponsor a participant under the donation tab. The cost is $25 per member/consumer.
NEW THIS YEAR!!!
If you would like a memorial sign in memory of someone you've lost to suicide placed along the route, please send your request to [email protected]. Signs are $5.00 and yours's to keep at the end of the event. Please have all requests submitted by April 30th.
