This is a new thing for me to try so please bear with me, I may not have all of the answers yet but if you want to know more I'll turn the chat on for this event so that any questions can be asked.Ultimately I am VERY excited about a weekend away chasing waterfalls!
The walks will consist of:
Saturday 7th June 10.30am : Wasdale Fairy Pools (CA20 1EX) 3.5 mile, easy but rocky walk.
Saturday 7th June 3.00pm: Ritsons Force (CA20 1EX) Less than a mile, easy.
Sunday 8th June 10.30am: Tongue Pot & Eskdale Waterfalls (CA19 1TH) 4.3 miles, easy but boggy.
I realise that everyone has different needs when it comes to accommodation so if you want to sort your own out please feel free then just meet us for the walks.
For anyone interested in staying somewhere as a group please comment or message the group chat so I can gage how many will be wanting to stay, I can then do some research and get quotes.
I will arrive on the Friday as it's nearly a 3 hour drive for me and I'll leave after the walk on the Sunday.
You will need to bring/buy suitable packed lunches and plenty of water (particularly if it's hot). Suitable walking gear and your swim gear too.
I will try to arrange a group meal somewhere on the Saturday night depending on where everyone is staying, I'll do this nearer the time.
There are probably a lot of things I'm yet to think of so I'll add to this event as/when things come up.
