Walk with Us to Cure Lupus is the Lupus Research Alliance’s signature national fundraising program devoted to finding a cure for lupus.
This event will include inspiring speakers light grab & go refreshments during the walk a t-shirt contest and a variety of activity booths.
Free to participate in this event but donations are appreciated. 100% of all donations go directly to lupus research programs.
Lupus is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease that affects millions of people worldwide. More than 90 percent of people with lupus are women and lupus disproportionately affects women of color. In lupus the immune system which is designed to protect against infection creates antibodies that can attack any part of the body including the kidneys brain heart lungs blood skin and joints.
