About this Event
We encourage you to register in advance for the event here, or register on-site the day of the event.
Let's come together in remembrance to support each other and continue healing.
- SPECIAL GUEST :
LENA HEILMANN
Suicide Prevention Advocate.
Lena Heilmann will speak on grief, healing, and posttraumatic growth following the loss of her sister, Danielle, in 2012.
Drawing from her lived experience as a sibling loss survivor and longtime advocate in the suicide prevention field, Lena will open up a conversation about the many layers of grief.
This one-hour talk will explore the unique pain of losing a loved one to suicide, how grief changes over time, and why growth, connection, and community can emerge from tragedy.
This presentation will follow safe messaging guidelines and is designed to be both grounding and affirming for those affected by suicide loss—and for anyone who holds space for them.
