Ring in the New Year as we Walk with Friends in the crisp winter air At 8:30am, we will gather indoors at The Lodge for coffee, tea, and conversation.
The walk begins at 9am. We will walk at a gradual pace for about 2 miles on level, paved surfaces. During the hike, we will learn about how our wild winged friends survive the winter, from the bold chickadee to the lovely crimson cardinal.
This hike will be led by Washtenaw Optimal Wellness and County Parks Naturalist Shawn Severance, and sponsored by Ypsi Marketing & Print Company and Primerica's Lynne Shivers.
All ages and ability levels welcome. This is a free event, no pre-registration required.
