Walking is one of the easiest and most effective ways to stay active, and the American Heart Association says it has the lowest dropout rate of any physical activity. Plus, research shows regular walking can add hours to your life—just imagine how much more you could enjoy while spending time in the serene beauty of the Arboretum!
What to Expect:
- Walk at your own pace with the support of fellow participants.
- Ask questions and get health advice from Dr. Patricia Davidson, MD, a specialist in cardiology and hypertension.
- Enjoy the scenic surroundings of the National Arboretum as you make strides toward a healthier lifestyle.
- No special gear needed—just wear comfortable shoes and come ready to move!
This program, started in 2005 in Columbus, OH, has now expanded worldwide, making it easier than ever to connect with doctors and get motivated to improve your health.
