Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from an Atrium Health healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking.DETAILS:
- Registration begins at Amerson River Park - 2600 Riverview Road, 15 minutes before the walk begins.
- Walks are on the 1st Saturday of the month and start at 9:00 AM from October - March and 8:00 AM from April - September.
- Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring a water bottle.
DIRECTIONS:
- WWAD will be set up in Amerson River Park at the AGL Pavilion next to the playground. Once you have entered the park you will come to a roundabout. Proceed through the roundabout to the second exit. The second exit will lead you to the great lawn. Take the next right and you will see the pavilion on your left.
