Take a step toward better health with a walk led by SGMC Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program. This initiative is a fun and safe place to get some exercise, interact with medical professionals in a casual environment, improve your health, and meet new friends. The event is FREE and all are welcome! Registrants will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last.
According to the American Heart Association, walking as little as 30 minutes a day can provide the following benefits:
