Ordnance Survey Map and Compass (and know how to use them)
GPS Device or OS App on your phone (with an extra battery pack)
Clothing:
Waterproof Jacket and Trousers (weather can change quickly)
Layered Clothing (base layer, insulating layer, and outer layer)
Hat and Gloves (even in summer, it can get cold at higher altitudes)
Footwear:
Sturdy Hiking Boots (with good ankle support and grip)
