The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care support and research. Join the Walk in Visalia on October 4 2025!More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease in the United States. Additionally nearly 12 million family members and friends provide care to people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In CA there are more than 719700 people living with the disease and 1396000 caregivers.
The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Tulare & Kings Counties residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Tulare & Kings Counties on October 4 at Quail Park at Shannon Ranch 3440 W. Flagstaff Ave. Visalia CA 93291. Registration will open at 9AM the ceremony at 10AM and the Walk will start at 10:30 AM.
On Walk day participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. During the ceremony walkers will carry flowers of various colors each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
