Hello, everyone. Letting you all know that my family and I will be participating in the Walk-a-Thon, Walk to End Alzheimers, in N. Babylon, Long Island on Oct. 19th, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association. We'll be doing so in loving memory of my beloved mother, Carmella "Millie" Irizarry, as Team Millie.
I'm saddened by my confidence that many of you have also experienced the suffering and ultimate loss of your dear loved ones, as we have, to this terrible disease throughout too many years.
In that spirit I'd like to invite you to consider being a participant by either joining our team, or by donating to this cause to raise awareness in the hope that we may all end this disease once and for all.
