About this Event
We are excited about this year's Walk through Bethlehem. Most of the tickets are reserved. We will accommodate those who utilize the walk-up availability as soon as possible. Please note, walk-up groups may experience a longer wait time.
You'll be immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of an ancient city, eventually making your way to the same discovery the shepherds made that first Christmas night—Jesus, the Savior, lying in a manger
What to expect: Registration for 2023 will be online (starting October 1).
Groups need to reserve a ticket for each person in their party. The doors open for the night of your tour a little before 4 p.m. If you register for a tour scheduled later in the evening, we ask that you arrive at the church no later than 20 minutes before your estimated time slot. Sometimes, we run a little ahead of schedule, but arriving early ensures you don't miss your turn.
Those showing up in person and not registered online will fit into the first available spot.
You are also welcome to wait in the sanctuary for your tour to begin. We try to make this as comfortable as possible, including toys and coloring materials for children.
Strollers are not allowed on the tours, so please plan on leaving them in the sanctuary.
When it's your group's turn, your number (given to you at the door) will appear on the screen at the front and back of the sanctuary, and your guide will greet you at the door.
Once started, the tours take 35-40 minutes. Please coordinate bathroom stops before you begin; facilities will be available after your tour.
Please stay with your group and watch your children closely during your tour. Bethlehem is a busy place, and it's easy to get lost plus, the Roman guards are very suspicious of foreigners)!
Check out the video above for a sneak peek of what to expect on your tour.
We look forward to seeing you in Bethlehem!
