‘Walk Talk Kernow’ is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice Care. Whilst walking in nature, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others who are also experiencing grief.Join us for a stroll along King George V Memorial Walk, at the half way point we will loop back, returning to the Cafe Riviera for drinks and cake! The walk is a flat well surfaced pathway with a choice of tarmacked or woodland loop back - approximate total distance of 2 miles. Is is mostly flat but some grassy banks on the loop so NOT suitable for wheelchair users or hose with mobility issues.
Meeting point outside Café Riviera beside Hayle Lido at 10 am for registration. If the café is closed that day, we will do a shorter walk and then walk to Café Lula on Mexico beach.
Carpark beside Hayle Swimming Pool available (free at the time of hosting this event). Further Street parking available around the area.
Suitable footwear essential.
Our teams will be visible with our lanyards/ID on.
