This South Salem walk starts going through a large cemetery and then through the lovely, hilly Candalaria residential neighborhood. The 10K continues on natural trails and in forests to the Fairmount Neighborhood. The Fairmount route goes past the Governor's Mansion and other attractive mansions and gardens. The 5K doesn't go to the Governor's Mansion.
Driving Directions:
From I-5 take Exit 253, head to Salem City Center on Mission St. for 3 miles to Commercial St., passing Salem Hospital. Left on Commercial for about 1 mile to LifeSource on the right.
