Join us in our effort to raise funds for 3 trailblazing nonprofits committed to inclusion in aviation.
About this Event

SissyMarySue Education Fund 501 ( c ) (3) Nonprofit is hosting a walk/run to benefit three organizations. We are excited to share about our 5K Walk/Run.

It's our 1st Annual 5k Walk/Run (3.1 miles)
To provide opportunities for next-generation pilots through SissyMarySue Education Fund 5011 (c) (3) initiatives.
Direct support and partnership with CTC and YIMA led by retired Airforce Colonel George London and a Retired Police officer Mamie Landford Singleton from the St. Cloud, Minnesota area.
We invite running clubs to help bring awareness of event to running or walking clubs.
We Encourage Donation Teams ( set up a group of walkers or runners from your place of work or community ) decide on a goal of gaining donars to back your Walk/Run. We will announce the amounts each group has raised at the event. Set this up on our website -

There is a very small percentage of female commercial pilots in the world. We seek to encouarge women in the field of aviation. There is also a situation where there are less people of color in commercial aviation- especially in the USA. We believe Black, Hispanic, Asian and Indigenous pilots of both genders would be an exceptional addition to the field of aviation!
Acknowledging there is a serious shortage of pilots and other critical positions within the field of aviation, we consequently, seek to respond to that need as well!

In addition to raising funds for our own organization, we'll share 40% of funds raised from entry fees (after expenses )with Columbia Training Centers in Maryland, led by retired Colonel George London (20%), and Youth Initiative Mentoring Academies led by Mamie Lanford Singleton (20%)! These organizations and their leaders have trail blazed and served in Empowering Aviation with Inclusion!

All proceeds of this run will fund aviation schools for students ages 7 through 18 years.
