Our popular and annual winter hike to brush off the Christmas cobwebs.Dust off the cobwebs and work off the Christmas turkey on this beautiful 5 mile circular jaunt around Guildford hosted by DG Outdoor Adventures.
This scenic walk will take in some great views around the local countryside and will finish at the The Royal Oak in historic Trinity Church Yard with a celebratory mulled wine.
The walk is open to people of all ages and although not too long there is a small but steep hill halfway through.
The walk should take no more than 3 hours but it does depend on the speed of the group.
Please make sure you are using appropriate clothing and footwear as it will probably be cold and quite possibly damp underfoot. Please make sure footwear is sturdy with good grip.
Also bring some nibbles for the journey and some fluids. Cold weather can be as dehydrating as the Summer.
This walk open to all ages provided that children are capable of walking this far and must be supervised by parents at all times.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome provided they are kept on a harness as we will walk through farmland.
Meet outside the March Hare in Guildford Town Centre from 09:30 for an 10am prompt start. Unfortunately if we are still waiting for arrivals after this time then the group will start without you.
