About this Event
Are you craving peace, calmness, and nature? Having difficulty prioritizing getting outside? Feeling alone and isolated? This healing hike is designed for us to slow down, practice being in our body by connecting to our senses and see the beauty all around us. Studies show that spending mindful, intentional time around trees (or forest bathing) can promote health and happiness. Come join me in having a new experience by engaging in a walking meditation surrounded by an old growth forest.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A slow, intentional walking meditation, paired with guided teachings founded in natures elements, a heart opening cacao & sharing circle next to the river, ending with building community and letting your inner child play in nature.
My intention is to create a new experience that guides you through the forest, tapping into the core teachings these lands provide; health & calmness, happiness & joy, gratitude & reciprocity, awareness & connectedness.
TAKE HOME: Simple daily practices, rituals, and new copings tools. You may feel lighter, more at peace with yourself, connected to earth and your heart, and have a new perspective about nature. Also, a handmade nature gift to remind us of all the teachings we learned throughout this experience.
WHERE: Oxbow Regional Park ($5 parking entrance fee). Meet at PARKING LOT #2

COST: Suggested Donation $35: Will never turn away for lack of funds…any energy exchange is honored.
PLEASE BRING: Hiking shoes, dress for weather, snacks, water, and your open heart & mind.
