About this Event
Walk in Her Sandals Women's Retreat
Friday, February 20 ~ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Saturday, February 21 ~ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
What if you witnessed the events of Jesus’ last days? Looking at the gifts of the “feminine genius” through the eyes of women in the gospels, you’ll be guided on a creative, inspirational, and prayerful journey that will help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus by relating to him in a profoundly intimate way—the way in which you were created to relate to Him, as a woman.
Looking at six universal gifts of women through the eyes of women in the gospels, retreat leaders, Kelly Wahlquist (Founder of WINE), Alyssa Bormes (Catholic author and speaker), and Marie Miller (amazing singer and songwriter) guide you on a prayerful and creative journey through the days of Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost.
Friday evening will include Stations of the Cross, an introduction to the retreat, and a lovely social time with appetizers, wine, and sparkling water. Saturday, the doors will open at 8:00 am, and the day will begin with Mass at 8:30 am, followed by talks by women of WINE that connect us to the women who encountered Jesus during his passion, death, and Resurrection.
Sharing food, fellowship, faith, and fun with your sisters in Christ is a perfect way to prepare your heart! Lent is just around the corner, and this retreat is a fabulous way to prepare to meet the Lord anew.
