About this Event
Bring your friends, family and waggy-tailed sidekicks for a big, friendly group walk in Bute Park. We’re coming together for a big joyful stroll to mark No Smoking Day and celebrate everything we love about Wales. Bring your family, friends, children, dogs, or just yourself. Everyone’s welcome!
What’s in store?
- A gentle, friendly group walk (not a race or a fitness challenge!)
- Free Welsh cakes for all taking part - because no Welsh get-together is complete without them
- Dog treats for our four-legged guests
- Activity packs for children to enjoy along the route
- Led by a wonderful mix of people who have quit smoking, are quitting, or support a smoke-free Wales
Where do we meet?
Brodies café (next to the former Pettigrew Tea Rooms) in Bute Park, near Cardiff Castle.
When?
Sunday 8 March - 11am start
Do I need to book?
Yes - places are free, but limited. Please reserve your spot so we can make sure there’s a Welsh cake (and a treat for every dog!) ready for you.
Do I have to be quitting smoking?
Not at all! Come to celebrate No Smoking Day, to meet new people or simply because it sounds like a nice way to spend a Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome!
Accessibility:
The walk is short, flat, and suitable for all ages, buggies, and little legs. The walk will be around 30-45 minutes.
