Rest easy, I'm not asking you for more sponsorship money - just your attention. This year on 21st September I'm going to spend the day in the beautiful grounds of Temple Newsam House, helping out with the Walk for Parkinson's event. Ozzy Osborne recently raised millions for Parkinson's research with his final concert and whilst the walk won't raise that much, it will raise thousands.
If you know someone with Parkinson's and would like to help in some way you can either walk the walk (choice of 1 or 6 miles) and raise a few quid yourself, or you can volunteer to help out on the day. It was really heartwarming last year to see the sense of achievement felt by those who took part and to give a bit of support as they neared the finishing post.
