It's time to Move Your Paws For An Important Cause! Join Central Vermont Humane Society Saturday, June 7th at 9:30 a.m. on the State House Lawn for our biggest event fundraiser of the year, the 2025 Walk for Animals.
This FREE family-friendly and pet-friendly event invites animal lovers to come together and showcase your commitment to our furry friends and help provide life-saving care for needy animals in our community.
Start planning your best pet costumes now and practicing your tricks, as the highly-anticipated dog costume contest and trick contest will be returning! Come dressed up in your best outfit and get ready to show off that training you’ve been working on for a chance to win great prizes.
Guests are invited to visit with vendors and participate in a variety of activities for all ages – humans and pets! Check out the different craft stations, sign up for the professional pet photo booth*, play games, hang out for story time with the Kellogg Hubbard Library, enjoy refreshments and show off their love of animals with a gentle 1 mile walk through Montpelier. **Walk is optional, there is plenty to do if you want to stay!**
