The Uniting Churches of Port Phillip region in conjunction with (MPKC) are hosting the 2024 2 day “Walk for a Cause.” This year the community walk will specifically seek to assist in conservation efforts for koalas.

DAY 2 will be spent within the Mt Martha Estuary region and The Briars. We will assist the team from the MPKC in a major tree planting event at The Briars, which will contribute to their ambitious target to plant over 25,000 trees throughout 2024. This portion will be an all ability event and particularly family friendly. All welcome!

Today is a shorter family friendly day with a mixture of boardwalk and generally well maintained bushland trails with breakfast presentations from (MPKC) and . We participate in The Briars (all ability) planting day with the MPKC and also enjoy the bush trails at The Briars.

The walk loop from Mt Martha Uniting church provides easy car parking for those wishing to complete the entire day. Similarly the Briars offers easy car parking options for those just joining us for planting, lunch and the woodland walk there. An (optional) fish and Chips tea provides a great way to complete the event recalling walk memories and comparing sore feet and hands with new and old friends!

Registration to all events throughout the day is free and tickets have been broken down into the below 3 options. Please choose as many options as you would like to register for.
